 Session:

Developing Mobile Applications with JQuery Mobile and PhoneGap In this presentation, Mark Drew will go through how you can develop applications for mobile devices, be they iPhones, Android devices and even Blackberries with ease using JQuery Mobile and PhoneGap. If you thought developing actual mobile Apps (like the ones you buy from the Apple App Store or Android Marketplace) think again! You can use the skills you already have as a CFML developer to good use! Mark Drew will go through the fundamentals of JQuery Mobile, how to use the layouts and pages as well as going through building multiple applications from one code base.

Speaker:

Mark has been programming CFML since 1996, and even though he has had forays into Perl, ASP and PHP he is still loving every line of code he has crafted with CFML.

His career has concentrated on eCommerce, Content Management and Application Scalability for various well known brands in the UK market such as Jaeger, Hackett, Hobbs, Dyson, B&W and Diesel amongst others.

Aside from commercial projects, Mark has contributed to a number of Open Source projects such as the CFEclipse Project (developing a CFML IDE), Reactor ORM, ColdSpring, ColdBox and the Model-Glue framework.
